A landmark project for Tauranga, this new build consists of one basement level and four additional levels of student accommodation – 94 rooms in all. There is also a separate onsite house for the facility manager.
Foster Construction partnered with Quintex Properties in an ECI arrangement for this development, close to the University of Waikato’s Tauranga campus.

Despite the challenges posed by site constraints and the impact of regional lockdowns, the accomplished team managed the project with great efficiency and the complex was delivered and completed at an exceptional standard.
Compac Commercial were engaged in the latter stages of the project when the design was already well-progressed although there were a few minor changes made to realise the client’s ambitions for the facility.

Our previous experience in the student space provided an excellent foundation from which to add value and to help ensure that every last bit of available space worked as hard as it could.
We supplied the fixed bedroom joinery: wardrobes, shelving, and drawers, built by Compac Home. And sourced the benches, sinks, and splashbacks for the three common areas.
